GUIDING BODY: Can-Am Police-Fire Games Federation

SPORT DESCRIPTION: Those participating in the individual event will be required to climb 40 floors of stairs. Time will begin when the participant’s foot touches the first step and timing will cease when the participant places their second foot on the last step of the top floor. Participants may take no more than two steps at a time. Failure to do so will result in a 10 minute penalty assessed for an infraction. Two infractions will result in disqualification of the solo competitor or team.

The team event will be run with 4 participants. Team age classifications for this event only will be an average age of the team members. Team participants must run a minimum of 7 stories each, consecutively. Timing will be conducted the same as in the individual event. A team competitor must be completely on the landing (2 feet) prior to the next team member starting their climb.
